A Message From the Principal

My name is Lesley Tait and I am very proud to be the Principal of Red Beach School. I have been working in education for the past 25 years, the past decade at Red Beach School. I feel very honoured to be leading such an excellent learning community. I believe that the focus for our school needs to be constantly on the business of learning, so that every individual, both child and adult, is engaged in learning opportunities. I am passionate about working together with staff, students and parents to bring to life our collective vision for Red Beach School. The phrase “Red Beach School is a community empowering lifelong learners to achieve and make a difference” encompasses all that we truly believe in and value and is the cornerstone around which everything in and around the school functions.

As part of this school vision, our school achieves high levels of academic success especially in the key focus areas of literacy and numeracy. Coupled with this, however, is our desire to ensure that each child leaves our school with a strong sense of self-belief and a commitment to be a well-rounded citizen of the world.
